Restrictions
- No flying within 200 feet of critical infrastructure
- No using drones for voyeurism or surveillance
- No flying over correctional facilities
- No interference with emergency operations
Penalties
First offense: $500 fine. Subsequent: up to $1,000 and/or 6 months jail.
Local Flying Notes
Louisiana's low-lying terrain provides good flying conditions. New Orleans and Baton Rouge have FPV communities. Watch for hurricane-related TFRs during storm season.
